Responsibilities for this role:
  • Responsible for management of moderately complex audits
  • Implement audit procedures in accordance with risk assessment and engagement team discussion
  • Identify misstatements and their implications
  • Perform tests of application system controls
  • Draft and organize management letters into substantially final documents
  • Ensure that all audit program steps have been completed
  • Ensure that all significant matters on the audit have been identified, addressed and resolved
  • Complete "end of audit" documentation requirements
  • Pre-plan engagements relative to the size of the audit to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Direct the work of assigned associates
  • Conduct planning meetings before beginning fieldwork
  • Plan and organize client assignments
  • Review work performed by others for completeness and accuracy
  • Support client relationships and general marketing initiatives
  • Develop rapport with client staff and management
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of clients' accounting systems
Requirements

  • 2-6 years experience in an Audit role in the CPA firm environment
  • Possess Bachelor's Degree, plus additional credits to meet the 150 hour requirement
  • Has completed the requirements for the CPA certification
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • 1+ years experience serving as an "in-charge" on audit engagements.
  • Ability to travel as needed to client locations.
