Information Assurance Manager/Officer (IAM/ISSO) - TS/SCI
SPARTA, Inc., a Parsons Company is looking for an Information Assurance Manager to provide support for a program, organization, system, or enclave’s information assurance program. Provide support for proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing information systems security policies, standards, and methodologies. Maintain operational security posture of NRO IS(s) to ensure their security policies, standards, and procedures are established and followed. Assist with the management of security aspects of the NRO IS(s) and perform day-to-day security operations of the system. Evaluate security solutions to ensure they meet security requirements for processing classified information. Provide configuration management (CM) for NRO IS(s) security software, hardware, and firmware. Manage changes to system and assess the security impact of those changes. Prepare and review documentation to include System Security Plans, Risk Assessment Reports, Assessment and Authorization packages, and System Requirements Traceability Matrices.
Ensure a strong customer focus. Provide effective security measures in support of customer mission needs. Integrate the security disciplines to provide optimal information system security solutions and make the ISSO a key member of the team.

Minimum 2 years of experience in one or more of the engineering disciplines of computer, electrical, or mechanical engineering or sub-disciplines related to them including, but not limited to the following examples: aerospace, electronic systems, information theory, computer science, communications, telecommunications, network, computer, software, information security (INFOSEC), communications security (COMSEC), engineering management, computer security, or other engineering disciplines.
Possess a working knowledge of ICD 503: Information Technology Systems security Risk Management, Certification and Accreditation. Possess a working knowledge of applicable IA-related NIST and CNSS documents. Be able to categorize NRO information systems, select/implement and assess security controls. Possess a working an intermediate level of understanding on how to perform a risk assessment. Be able to assess threat/vulnerability reports and recommended appropriate IA controls to mitigate. Be able to evaluate proposals to determine if proposed security solutions effectively address NRO IS requirements. Ensure that security related provisions of the system acquisition documents meet all identify security needs, Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the NRO’s enterprise services and safeguards to ensure that baseline security safeguards are appropriately installed
Must possess current DODI 8570.01 compliant CISSP certification
Be able to effectively communicate and interact with senior government representatives.
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in engineering or related discipline as described in the Experience Requirements section is desired.
Advanced degree holders will require shorter periods of General Experience than holders of Bachelor Degrees.
An additional 9 years of demonstrated experience in Information Technology, Information Assurance, or Information Security may be used in lieu of a Bachelor Degree.
Must have a TS/SCI clearance. US Citizenship required.
