Reporting to the Assistant Dean, the Information Specialist is the primary conduit of information related to programs, services, systems, and overall University policies as the first line of contact for greeting and monitoring all guests of the college. The Information Specialist helps to coordinate Admissions Department visits, directs calls, forwards mail, processes deliveries, and coordinates closely with many University offices including Public Safety, Campus Services and Physical Plant.
This position actively engages with all members of the AIB community, as well as the general public, and will supervise 3-4 student employees. This position is located at 700 Beacon Street, Boston, MA.
Bachelor's degree required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (i.e., Word, Outlook, and Excel) is required, as is a willingness to learn new software as needed.
Demonstrated strong attention to detail, the ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet goals with minimal supervision.
Must be able to maintain a calm and friendly demeanor in most situations.
