Job Posting Description:
The Information Systems Specialist provides automation support in the areas of Human Resources Management and/or Financials Management. This position requires extensive knowledge of both t information technology and financial or human resources management fields of study.
A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related degree in the IT field is highly desirable. Knowledge and experience of accounting principles and applications is preferred. 5+ years of experience in life cycle software development for all Oracle Financial applications, Procurement, and Workflow including: requirement analysis, system design, development, unit testing, system integration, and production support. Possess effective analytical abilities and communication skills, both oral and written. Mastery of software tools, platforms, processes, PL/SQL, web
development tools, UNIX, and Oracle tools including Workflow, Developer, Designer, Discoverer, Forms, and Toad.
Participate with the ASAP team in the software development life cycle for Oracle Financials, Procurement, Workflow, and Self-Service applications. Develop, upgrade, implement, test and document software components. Direct, review, approve, and build well-documented, efficient, and effective solutions to meet business needs and provide responsive support to production issues. Responsibilities are techno-functional including: meeting with users and team members to develop and implement solutions based on requirements; performing application setups; testing and user training; creating XML reports; performing data queries; using Oracle Forms and Reports for custom development; creating custom interfaces using APIs, writing PL/SQL, stored procedures, packages, triggers and customizing Workflows. Project management experience desired; strong implementation
skills preferred; must provide excellent customer service and user understanding.
