ABN Technologies is seeking IAT II employees and candidates that would be interested in a long-term opportunity.

Employees will provide technical support services to enhance the capabilities of a client's pursuit of a range of activities central to its current work program. The Department the successful candidate will be assigned will be responsible, in part, to apply advanced information technology principles, concepts, methods, standards, and practices sufficient to accomplish the network mission.

Roles will be in system administration and network administration areas for one additional employee. This posting encompasses many criteria; some are prefered, but not all are required. Not all are required.

Typical schedule is Monday-Friday 7:30-4:30.

DUTIES

  • Resolves customer IT/ADP/LAN problems
  • Provide technical support and administration for firewall and intrusion prevention
  • Provide support for installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of CISCO switch and router hardware platforms.
  • Maintain network operability and security
  • Use packet capturing software for network analysis
  • Provide fixed and mobile scanning services such as e-Eye Retina
  • Provide periodic reviews, updates, and necessary maintenance needed to maintain specific technical writing and policy documentation
  • Assist in the modification of documents/policy
  • Provide maintenance and periodic review of classified and unclassified network accreditation documentation
  • Provide maintenance to website(s)
  • Provide required training and certification support
  • Develop documents and diagrams in support of establishing/maintaining all requirements associated with the client's network architecture, infrastructure, topology, protocols, and connectivity between sites/buildings.
Local auto travel will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

MUST HAVES:
3+ years work experience with technology & systems that can include: automation equipment troubleshooting, systems analysis, hardware installation and maintenance, software testing, software installation and maintenance, network installation and maintenance, database administration/design, and project management.

Ability to pass background check
Legally eligible to work in the United States
SECRET security clearance upon date of hire
Satisfactory completion of prerequisite training by established deadlines.

Expertise on
  • CISCO routers
  • CISCO Firewalls
  • CiscoWorks
  • MacAfee, Juniper, and Ironview products
  • Visio
  • PowerPoint
PREFERRED
  • Knowledge in the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008, Vista and Windows 7 Enterprise Operating systems
  • Knowledge of firewall practices
  • Knowledge of network topologies, both physical and logical
  • Possess knowledge of encryption devices
  • English Language - Strong written & verbal communication skills
  • Experience providing customer and personal services
  • Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing reports, and other office procedures and terminology.
PLUSSES
  • Cisco &/or Microsoft Certified: Baseline and Computing Environment Certification (CE), CompTIA Security +, MCITP, Server Administrator, 2008
HS diploma or equivalent required; AA degree in IT recommended; MIS degree optional
