This is an inside sales function reporting to the local Sales Manager that focuses on maintaining an existing book of accounts. This position will maintain confidentiality of customers, products tested and internal proprietary information. Communication with internal and external customers is prompt, courteous and effective. Studying and staying current with government and industry rules, laws, regulations, standards and specifications is required. Travel will be limited to occasional tradeshows, conferences and offsite or out of state sales meetings.
" Take calls and e-mails for quotations, technical questions, project changes, and job status
" Rapidly develop and maintain client and industry relations
" Work with engineering teams in various locations around the world
" Gather, understand and use technical documents such as spec sheets, schematics, and drawings
" Write and issue quotations
" Follow up and maintain quotation pipeline
" Assist Sales Manager with quoting other sales team members for local services
" Assist accounting with bringing accounts current
" Maintain accurate contact information on each account
" Increase existing account revenue and take on new current clients till a full book is reached

" Ability to apply and understand advanced concepts of an electrical and/or mechanical nature
" At least 3 years sales experience
" Highly proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
" Able to stay focused and professional in a fast paced and stressful environment involving strong personalities and uncompromising demands
