Inside sales is responsible for all sales activities that take place inside the company until an order is received and the project is opened. Inside sales proactively sells, up sells & X-sells UL services. Qualifies prospects identified through various lead generation activities and third party databases, and follow-ups direct mail campaigns. Closes sales through phone, and re-directs qualified sales leads to the sales reps if needed. Serves as contact for customer quoting/orders via email, telephone and web portal. Responsible for quoting, using standardized pricing tools, and booking orders. Communicates with customers to assist in the completion of service requests.

Job Responsibility

Builds and maintains knowledge of UL’s offerings to assist customers in maintaining a need for UL services.

Receives customer prospects and sales leads.

Sends quotes.

X-Selling and up selling.

Performs follow-up of sent quotes and turns them into orders.

Makes cold calls to prospects to win new customers (partly).

Contacts customers proactively to win new orders.

Enters the orders in Oracle & sending the information to Customer Service.

Responsible for quoting, using standardized pricing tools, and booking orders.

Communicates with customers to assist in the completion of service requests.

Performs other duties as directed.

Required Skills

High School Degree (or equivalent) required plus generally four (4) years telesales or direct sales experience.

Basic computer knowledge.

This position will require up to approximately 15% travel for meetings, trade shows, or other events.
