Overall responsibility for the operation of the Installation Department which includes quotes, billing and staff management for the installation of Hussmann and related equipment for customers both internal and external.
Responsible for Installation Departments profit and loss by properly estimating job site and floor plans to establish an equitable quotation to install Hussmann or related equipmentl
Appropriately assign Installation Department personnel to job sites, coordinating with general and sub-contractors for time schedules.
Demonstrated knowledge of refrigeration installation.
Oversee all aspects of the contract regarding general contracting, electrical and piping installations.
Oversee the coordination and review of job files, as well as coordinate all material delivery and recieving.
Understand and adhere to government EPA - CFC regulations as well as all safety regulations. Perform the role of safety driver for the department.
Coordinate as a partner with the Service Manger, on all warranty work transferred to the Service Department including monitoring and reporting on all warranty work being performed.
Assist Sales and Engineering Departments in reviewing drawings.
Complete necessary documents and electronic communication in a thorough, accurate and timely manner for timely invoicing requirements and accurate time cards.
Develop and maintain excellent customer relations.
Oversee and monitor vehicle maintenance and operations.
Oversee and monitory inventory on a regular basis.
Required Skills
Working knowledge of refrigeration, store refrigeration and sales.
Valid Driver's License and safe driving record.
Valid licenses and refrigeration certifications as appropriate for refrigeration installation.
Physically able to climb ladders, work at high elevations, operate fork lifts and lift objects up to fifty pounds.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, understanding of financial reports, leadership, problem solving, detail oriented, highly motivated and strong interpersonal skills.
Comfort level with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as Microsoft Project Manager, highly desired.
BA/BS degree required.
