Ensures public safety by managing, directing and supervising an adult Community Corrections Diversion Center. Plans, manages and coordinates the security operations, fiscal and budgetary functions of the facility. Facilitates implementation of local, state, and departmental policies, procedures and standards. Interacts with community groups, law enforcement and service providers. Manages public relations for the facility.

Minimum Qualifications
Working knowledge of the criminal justice system and correctional programming, security, support and administration. Demonstrated ability to supervise staff. Progressively responsible supervisory experience in the areas of treatment, security, and administrative support functions. Working knowledge of pertinent federal, state, and local laws and ordinances. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of individuals and public officials.

Preferred Qualifications
Prefer graduation from an accredited college or university with coursework in criminal justice, public relations, a related field or equivalent training or experience. An equivalent combination of training and experience indicating possession of the preceding knowledge and abilities may substitute for this education and experience.
