The primary responsibility of this role is for the design and development of e-learning products and programs assigned by the Director of Education and Training, ASQ Learning Institute/Learning Offerings (LO) or designee.
SKILLS: Demonstrated work ethic and communication skills; understanding of quality principles, continuous learning, customer focus, and partnering skills. Demonstrated instructional systems design skill specific to e-learning. Excellent project management, communication skills and the ability to interact effectively in one-on-one situations both onsite and remotely are required. Must have proficiency with Articulate and/or Adobe E-learning Suite including Captivate and Flash. Knowledge of Action Script 3 a plus. Must be experienced with Learning Content Management (LCMS) software and possess the ability to adhere to deadlines and follow instructions.
EDUCATION: A bachelor’s degree in related field required (equivalent experience will be considered). A master’s degree in the field of education, with an emphasis on instructional design, e-learning, adult education, or curriculum design/development is preferred.
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three to five years’ experience in both design and build of interactive e-learning.is required. Must have worked through and managed instructional design processes (ADDIE or similar) for e-learning. Extensive experience with e-learning software and authoring tools required. References and work samples are required.
LIST OF ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Design and develop assigned e-learning courses based on the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate) model of Instructional Design.
2.Evaluate customer responses to training program and provide continual improvement as requested.
3.Collaborate with faculty and subject matter experts in the effective design and delivery of all training programs.
4.Be available for onsite work and/or meetings as required.
1.Internal - Frequent interaction with Learning Offerings work group in ASQ.
2.External - Frequent interaction with subject matter experts and faculty.
1.Planning and scheduling. Contributes to the planning and scheduling of development projects as requested.
2.Product delivery. Delivers product on time, defect free, and according to plan.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Works independently to meet training program plan and schedule. Must submit work to Director of Education and Training, ASQ Learning Institute/Learning Offerings or designee.
