Zions Bancorporation is now accepting resumes for our Instructional Designer position in our Corporate Credit Learning Group located in West Valley City, UT. The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to:

Be responsible for designing learning interventions for the credit / lending functions throughout Zions Bancorporation including all affiliates

Engage in defining learning and knowledge needs, developing new hire and continuing education courses, implementing courses, administrating the Learning Management System (LMS), and evaluating learning and performance effectiveness to assure business and employee development needs are met

Focus on all aspects of learning and development striving to continuously improve training curriculum design and delivery, employee performance, knowledge and skill application and retention

Design training and informational programs on concrete and abstract topics

Design content using a variety of delivery methods including classroom, online, virtual and other forms

Functions include systematic observation, interviewing, researching and surveying, identifying instructional objectives, designing sophisticated measurement instruments, creating advanced learning activities, and writing discussion guides, scripts and other materials

Facilitate both large and small groups

Write and edit materials for Company publications

Evaluate and recommend outside programs

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor’s degree and experience in curriculum design and development

Exposure to or experience in commercial lending preferred

Sound knowledge of curriculum development for leader led, online and virtual delivery

Basic knowledge and experience using web-based authoring tools

Ability to analysis effectiveness of training materials and courses

Strong problem resolution and project management skills

Ability to develop and obtain training goals and interact with course facilitators and managers to access training needs

Must have good communication, sound judgment and organizational skills

Solid PC software skills and understanding of online course development authoring tools
