This is an Instructional Specialist position to teach various Computer Science courses . The instructor will teach both the regular lecture section and (depending on the class) also meet with a weekly honors section throughout the semester if necessary. Duties and Responsibilities
Arizona Board of Regents Minimum Qualifications
- Prepare and deliver lectures * Prepare, assign, and handle the grading of appropriate assignments and exams. * Answer student questions outside of class for a minimum of four hours per week * Effectively manage an assigned Teaching Assistant in handling work associated with the course.
Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment; OR, four years of progressively responsible instructional or subject work experience; OR, any equivalent combination of experience, training and/or education.
Additional Minimum Qualifications
- Experience teaching at the University level. * Teaching and/or work experience with C, Unix, and developing large software projects.
