      Mt. McKinley School is located in the Juvenile Hall facility in Martinez. The school offers a variety of classes targeted at students’ specific needs.
      All teachers are certified, and the curriculum is aligned with the Common Core Standards and the California State Frameworks. Lessons are designed to accommodate classrooms diverse in ability and learning styles. Technology is highly valued and all students have access to computers. This program also helps students develop positive social behaviors and life skills.
      The Instructional Support Program provides instruction to special education/at-risk students through the use of direct instruction or co-teaching methodologies by providing access to Contra Costa County Office of Education’s approved core curricula in individual, small or large group settings.
