• Maintain a proactive role in academic and curricular review
• Design/develop and evaluate curriculum including the updating of Learning Activity Plans and degree sheets
• Incorporate and utilize technology in the classroom
• Develop and teach online course(s)
• Provide academic advisement
• Serve on at least one (1) college/division committee
• Participate in Outcomes Assessment activities at the course, dept. and institutional level
• Hold office hours all times classes are in session
• Fulfill all other full-time faculty responsibilities as stipulated in the faculty contract
All new faculty members may be expected to have an evening or weekend assignment.
English – Teach courses in English and other related fields. Must have a Master’s degree in English or Composition
History – Teach courses in History and other related fields. Must have a Master’s degree in History or related field
Biology – Teach courses in Microbiology, Biology and other related fields. Must have a Master’s degree in Microbiology
or related field in Biology
Paralegal/Criminal Justice – Teach courses in Paralegal and Criminal Justice. Must have a Juris Doctor and Criminal Justice experience.
Mathematics – Teach courses in Arithmetic through differential equations. Must have Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics or Mathematics Education as well as at least 15 Graduate credits in Pure Mathematics
Business - Teach courses in entrepreneurship and other Business disciplines. Must have a Master’s degree in Business
Speech – Teach courses in Speech. Must have a Master’s degree in Speech

All positions require: College level teaching experience. Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate, Community College teaching experience and the ability to teach more than one discipline.
