The Department of Psychology invites applicants for a one-year 9-month visiting (non-tenure-track) position to begin in August 2013.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Teach 4 undergraduate courses each semester and advise students
- Participate in some service to the university
- Mentor undergraduate students in Independent Studies and Internships
- Performs other academic duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience in teaching a range of undergraduate college level courses
- Cultural sensitivity
- Mentoring college level students
- Ability to use various computer software, preferably MSOffice and Banner.
- Ability to mentor and advise students within the department.
Required Education and/or Experience
Ph.D. (or equivalent degree) in Psychology or closely related field. ABD may be considered if all degree requirements are completed before employment begins.
Preferred Education and/or Experience
Experience in online teaching and research experience preferred.
