Instructor Counter Explosive Hazard Center (CEHC)- CAC
MSS-OTED-Fort Leavenworth - Fort Leonard Wood, MO
Instructor will provide Improvised Explosive Device (IED) instruction and maintenance support to the Counter Explosive Hazard Center (CEHC) at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Courses include: Intermediate Search Course (ISC), Counter Explosive Hazard Planner (CEH-P) Course, Route Reconnaissance and Clearance Course – Sapper (R2C2-S), Area Clearance Course (ACC), and Advanced Combat Military Working Dog Leader (ACMWDL) Course.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Providing instruction to students via coaching, group discussion, lectures, demonstrations, seminars and workshops by using media and training aids.
Provide predictive analysis, coordination of search and route clearance operations, decision-making tools, and other countermeasures at Battalion level and above.
Review training and educational products and materials.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS :
Must have recent operational experience in Iraq or Afghanistan.
DoD Instructor Training Course (ITC) certification desired.
Applicant must have experience in US Army Engineer doctrine, specializing in counter-IED countermine and counter explosives operations.
Possess a working knowledge of the courses taught within the Counter Explosive Hazards Center.
Experience with the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) process.
Ability to analyze past and current operations, tactics, techniques and procedures (TTP), field manuals, and provide recommendations for training revisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Must possess a working knowledge in Microsoft Office software and computer applications.
