Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Civil engineering or other related engineering/technology discipline. Two years of demonstrated excellence and experience in college teaching is desired. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and experience with the assessment of student learning are required, particularly in regard to ABET learning outcomes. Must demonstrate the ability to utilize instructional technology, promote a student-centered approach to teaching and learning, and show evidence of commitment to and an understanding of the mission of the community college. Candidates must have the ability to communicate and work effectively with an ethnically and culturally diverse campus community.
Ability to teach courses in multiple areas, including: Introduction to Engineering, Engineering Statics and Dynamics, 3D Computer-Aided Design and Modeling, etc.
