Two years bank experience preferred, or equivalent.
Knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to the completion of high school and some college courses (in the field of business), which includes specific courses in bookkeeping, business, math and typing.
Knowledge of data processing, accuracy with numbers and attention to detail is a must. A high level of concentration is imperative. A lot of the decision making and problem solving that may arise in this position must be resolved by this person. Anything that the incumbent is unable to solve would be referred to the Loan Operations Officer.

This full-time position is located in the Commercial/Consumer Loan Department for Jefferson Bank.
Maintain evidence of insurance coverage on loans. Follow-up with the borrower and agents for evidence of coverage. Force place insurance on loans to ensure Bank's interest is covered where customers have failed to comply with our insurance requirements.
Review escrowed insurance and taxes expiration reports to assist account officers for renewals of collateral insurance and paid taxes and advise the officer of problems.
Track flood insurance and ensure compliance with the Flood Disaster Protection Act.
Track all paid Commercial Loans. Send and release documentation as necessary on paid files.
Imaging coordinator of loan documentation along with performing other vault functions - file various documents, monitor & gather information for record retention, box, mark and store. Shred if required.
Perform audits on files and management requests/projects.
Effectively communicate between all lending personnel, borrowers, regulators, auditors, outside agencies (other Financial institutions, Title Companies, Insurance Agencies), Compliance Officer and Accounting Department to assure adequate and proper procedures, payment application, system coding and compliance.
During periodic exams, assist auditors with pulling files and/or other documents and making copies as deemed necessary.
Provide prompt, courteous and excellent service to internal and external customers at all times. This includes an obligation to actively cooperate and interact with other departments and facilities to advance the overall interests of the bank.
Contribute to the effort of the Bank by performing other duties as assigned.
Draft correspondence as needed.
Maintain educational and profession expertise through attendance at job related seminars, conferences and workshops.
