Primary Function:

Responsible for preparation and maintenance of underwriting data, application process, loss control, claims management and evaluation of insurance contracts for a robust property and casualty risk management program.
Essential Job Functions/ Duties:

· Collect and maintain current and historical exposure information and prepare annual underwriting submissions for all risk insurance programs
· Maintain and organize all correspondents related to insurance policies
· Analyze loss experience to identify trends; maintain data communication
· Review insurance policies received for accuracy
· Prepare reports for insurance committee as needed (claims statistics, premium history)
· Allocate premium amount Cook companies
· Coordinate audits of insurance programs
· Preparation of insurance summaries
· Analyze cost benefit of various programs and procedures within the insurance department
· Coordinate and complete projects as needed, training, Powerpoints, etc.
· Provide research and acquire expertise in policy and coverage interpretation
· Provide ongoing risk management support as needed
· Arrange for timely payment of all costs associated with the cost of risk
· Additional duties as assigned

Minimum Work Experience/ Educational Requirements:

· College degree with major in risk management or similar insurance experience preferred
· CRM, ARM designation or CPCU course work a plus
· Experience working on large complex accounts on the brokerage/ agency side with a Risk Management Environment would be preferred
· Knowledge of accounting and legal preferred
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask
· Must be willing to work in a team environment
· Must be detailed oriented and comfortable working with numbers, basic math proficiency required
· Must be flexible when work requires change in schedule
· Must possess a professional demeanor and a good attitude in all aspects of the job
· Some travel may be required
