Serves as direct line supervisor of architecture improvement projects; Manages one or more projects in data center, network center, or end-user support services; Responsible for identifying appropriate resources needed, assigning individual responsibilities, and developing schedule to ensure timely completion of project deadlines; Coordinates communications, issue resolution, implementation and testing plans, training plans and successful transition to support and maintenance teams.

Essential Responsibilities
Serve as a technical expert responsible for the design and implementation of integrations to and from GE’s Global HR ERP (Oracle eBusiness Suite) and PeopleSoft Payroll processes. In this role, you will leverage your hands-on experiences to design system integrations, which maximize utility and minimize cost. You will evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, develop technical standards, and assist with the resolution of complex system problems.
  • Design integration solutions using a mix of existing and emerging technologies, while optimizing for performance, scale, and cost
  • Ensure that integration solutions offer maximum reuse potential
  • Lead the development of advanced prototypes for future integration platforms
  • Oversee and direct development work to ensure quality and adherence to design
  • Partner with functional owners and project managers to validate requirements and document technical integration requirements
  • Produce detailed test plans to ensure a rigorous quality assurance process
  • Conduct logical and physical database design, solution prototyping, and performance engineering
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key strategic vendors and peers
  • Work effectively across various support teams and with senior management
  • Responsible for OHR (Oracle Human Resource) to PeopleSoft EDM (Employee data management) interface batch job
  • Partner with customer and OHR project leaders to support OHR/PeopleSoft Projects that will impact EDM. i.e. Acquisitions / Disposition/ Cola Processing
  • Coordination with EDM team, OHR operations leader and DBAs for Instance usage, outage planning and disaster recovery planning/testing

    Qualifications/Requirements
    Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of ETL technologies with hands-on Informatica Power Exchange experience
  • Minimum 3 years of recent hands-on analysis, designing, coding and quality assurance experience on global business-critical enterprise-integration solutions
  • Minimum 3 years of recent data modeling experience producing conceptual, logical, & physical designs meeting client needs
  • Minimum 3 years of recent experience with Oracle 10G, or higher with expert knowledge of SQL performance tuning, index analysis, & partitioning
  • Minimum 3 years of recent experience with Informatica Power Exchange
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other related technical /IT field or a minimum of 6 years IT, relative, hands-on, work experience ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

    Desired Characteristics
  • Strong preference to those with knowledge of common enterprise integration patterns
  • Strong preference to those with experience integrating data from Oracle eBusiness Suite (preferably the HR modules)
  • Strong preference to those with experience supporting clients in Human Resources, Payroll, or Benefits functions
  • Experience with implementing real-time integration solutions (change data capture, replication)
  • Experience with SOA technologies and/or message-oriented-middleware
  • Experience with software and Infrastructure Change Management, Release Management, and Source Code Configuration Control (ITIL)
  • Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities
  • Strong team player – collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources

  • Strong written & verbal communication skills. Able to communicate in a clear and succinct manner, especially when simplifying complex designs for key leadership

  • Ability to thrive and exceed in a fast-paced and performance driven globally dispersed team
