CSC seeks a mid-level Targets Officer/Intelligence Analyst
at MacDill AFB, FL. A CURRENT TS/SCI CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED FOR EMPLOYMENT CONSIDERATION. CANDIDATES WITHOUT AN ACTIVE TS/SCI WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
Develops, manages, and maintains target intelligence programs for U.S. Central Command in support of all planning and operations for the command to include air, ground, naval, and special operations joint force employment. Performs in the functional areas of conventional and special weapons target development and all-source intelligence analysis in the areas of OPLANs, CONPLANs, Joint Task Force plans and operations, and potential command crisis responses. Coordinates targeting, tacking and locating (TTL) with the Joint Staff, Joint Task Forces, Component Commands, supporting commands, and national intelligence agencies. Supports kinetic and non-kinetic targeting operations to include Information Operations, Cyber, OSINT, IMINT, SIGINT, MASINT and other military intelligence targeting capabilities that provide functional effects.
Qualifications required by Client:
Mid: 4-7 years experience
Familiarity or experience with the Joint Targeting Cycle and Target Development. Graduates of the Joint Targeting School or the Air Force Combat Targets Course desired.
All-Source intelligence background desired with experience at the Joint, Numbered Air Force, Army Corps and above, Navy Fleet or Marine Corps MEF/MAGTF level desired. Past experience coordinating intelligence analysis with multiple national intelligence agencies required.
Experience managing Joint Target Lists, Restricted Target Lists and No Strike Lists and targeting or battle damage assessment (BDA) support to strike operations highly desired.
Experience with High-Value Target prosecution, the Joint Deep Operations Coordination System (JDOCS), Joint Munition Effectiveness Manuals (JMEM) and other weaponeering applications highly desired.
Briefing experience at the GO and Field grade levels for Senior /SME positions
Effective verbal and written communications a must
Essential Job Functions
Prepares intelligence documents through intelligence gathering using multiple intelligence sources such as human intelligence (HUMINT), signals intelligence (SIGINT), geospatial intelligence (GEOINT), measurement and signal intelligence (MASINT), open source intelligence (OSINT) to support customers including military, intelligence, law enforcement or security agencies.
Processes information about situations and entities of strategic, operational or tactical importance; characterizes possible future actions and identifies possible courses of action or remedies.
Analyzes current intelligence holdings, identifies potential shortfalls, gaps and vulnerabilities to develop subsequent collection requirements. Develops specialized intelligence products, threat analyses, production support, and tailored intelligence products such as fusion intelligence, warning intelligence, estimative intelligence or psychological profiling. Develops moderately complex briefings, reports and short notice position papers; reviews, approves and compiles reports, overseeing submission of documentation to relevant databases, mining those databases as needed and as identified to further compile and analyze information, presents briefings to key personnel. Collaborates and supports broader security project teams.
Assists in identifying potential targets including assessing targets of opportunity, providing geographic, photographic and threat-related information to appropriate parties such as the military.
Oversees the processing of incoming reports and messages, determining significance and reliability of incoming information. Integrates incoming intelligence and operational information to maintain situation awareness displays. Identifies issues and concerns and escalates as appropriate.
Develops periodic and special intelligence reports, plans and briefings. Recommends changes, and where appropriate, courses of action.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in international relations, political science, public policy, psychology or related field preferred
Graduate of an intelligence training school or equivalent
Four or more years of intelligence analysis experience
Experience working with intelligence organizations
Experience working with intelligence processes, policies and procedures
Experience working with multiple intelligence sources
Experience working with multiple intelligence databases and maintenance of accuracy and content of same
Experience working with specialized specific intelligence sources such as human intelligence (HUMINT), signals intelligence (SIGINT), geospatial intelligence (GEOINT), measurement and signal intelligence (MASINT), open source intelligence (OSINT) and possibly developing subject matter expertise in that particular discipline
Possess security clearance as needed
Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
Communication skills to interact with team members and support personnel
Analytical and problem solving skills for investigating security issues
Ability to work with intelligence databases and related tools
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Willingness to travel
