Blackstone's Federal Practice is hiring Interactive Media Designers to join the team in Arlington, VA. The position will support software end-user instructional development for enterprise applications (ex: CRM). The ideal candidate for this position will have related experience in creative interactive, professional/corporate quality, polished, multimedia material.
Responsibilities:
Work with a team of Instructional Designers, course developers and Subject Matter Experts to create highly professional and engaging training content, templates and user interfaces using Captivate, Articulate, and Adobe Flash among other tools.
Create, edit, and integrate media assets as needed to support courseware including graphics, audio and video.
Work within project timelines and budgeted hours (as assigned by Manager).
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience developing media. Experience should include developing interactions, user interfaces, simulations and templates.
Expert knowledge of Flash, Articulate, Captivate, and Microsoft PowerPoint
Expert knowledge of Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Experience working with video/audio editing and compression techniques
Functional knowledge of SCORM 1.2 and Section 508
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under aggressive deadlines.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with technical staff.
