Position Overview

The Interactive Project manager is responsible for driving the coordination and execution of all development and production activities for the ecommerce site, marketing microsites, email and social channels for the Company. The Interactive Project manager is responsible to effectively collaborate with the Company’s Creative Services, Marketing, Merchandising, Product Development, Engineering and other cross-functional departments to ensure on-time execution of multiple projects. The role requires strong communication, organizational and project-management skills, and knowledge of the various phases of online ecommerce and marketing content development and production (copywriting, Web site design, interaction design, front end technologies and implementation). The ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects with critical deadlines and material risks is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities of the Interactive Project manager include, but are not limited to:

Assess, establish, and manage digital project scope, timing, and work effort through the project life cycle.

Manage and track all digital assets associated with the redesign of

Manage copy development process associated with the redesign of

Coordination of delivery management.

Day-to-day management of inter-disciplinary project teams, third-party technology, and IT partners as appropriate through all phases of the project life cycle.

Facilitate effective processes, workflows and internal collaboration across all digital disciplines, cross-functional departments and vendors.

Responsible for ensuring successful communications for digital projects and deliverables.

Ensure digital project deliverables meet LeapFrog’s standards and goals.

Responsible for overarching project risk assessment and resolutions management for project related issues.

Develop strong and trusting relationships amongst cross-functional team members

Education & Experience

College graduate with business-management and on-the-job, project-management training

5+ years working in a cross-functional environment managing the delivery, design and production of interactive content and products

Extremely organized and detail-oriented professional with an ability to juggle multiple projects and competing demands in a fast-paced environment.

Solutions-driven self-starter with the confidence and initiative to make things happen.

Responsive and flexible to evolving responsibilities and changing needs.

Capable of leading inter-disciplinary teams on small to mid-scale digital projects across various teams.

Must possess strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with a variety of team members at all levels of the organization.

Must have strong conflict resolution, facilitation and problem solving skills.

Should be an excellent communicator, with strong written and oral communication skills.

Proficiency with MS Project, Excel

Familiarity with web technologies (e.g., Flash, HTML, CSS, FTP, etc.)

General understanding of the capabilities and limitations of programs such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
