Emser Tile, the nation-wide supplier of high-quality floor covering products servicing world-leading retailers, builders and contractors, seeks experienced Interior Designer/Architectural designers interested in becoming Sales Representatives. Our 40-year history of unprecedented growth requires that we recruit the best to build and support Emser's Design sales in our San Leandro Branch Location.
Part-Time Interior Design / Sales Representative
Reporting to the Branch Manager, this position will provide sales and service to existing customers serviced by our Branch as well as developing new clientele, on a part-time basis. Our Interior Design / Sales professionals interface with architects, builders, designers, General Contractors and all other decision makers in the sales and installation projects and their support staff. This key role will drive sales volume and strive to deepen existing account penetration in current within the Branch's assign sales territories. At all times, our Interior Design / Sales Representatives identify, cultivate and leverage our client relationships through providing the highest level of customer service support and collaborative selling strategies. This position could become full-time when sales driven by a successful candidate justify a full-time position.

Be able to work independently while simultaneously implementing company defined sales strategies
Be an expert in influential / collaborative sales and negotiation techniques, including analytical skills that can identify and exploit key opportunities
Enjoy prospecting for new accounts, setting up / maintain displays and introducing our quality products to the marketplace
Be driven to meet sales goals and enjoy the upside of variable compensation programs that reward exceeding plan
Instinctively address all customer questions and concerns promptly with business savvy solution / resolution strategies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience in Interior Design/Architecture preferred. ASID Certification a plus.
Ability to sell and service customers in a showroom sales environment (preferably within the retail, wholesale or flooring industry)
Demonstrated expertise in the principles of collaborative sales technique
Solid analytical skills in identifying client needs and aligning them to product offerings;
College B.A. / B.S. degree preferred
