ICF’s Energy and Aviation Markets group offers results and solutions to a broad range of clients in the energy industry in the Americas, Europe, and Asia. We provide a portfolio of strategy, analysis, advisory services, and implementation tools to clients in the energy sector. Through our market analysis and forecasting, we have accurately predicted the outlook for power supplies, prices, and environmental allowances, and have provided clients with detailed insights, meaningful conclusions, and actionable recommendations.                                                         Job Description:

                                                        We seek an intern for the summer of 2013 to support our Alternative Fuels & Advanced Transportation team. The qualified candidate will contribute to the development of innovative, accurate, timely, and high quality products and services, typically working on multiple projects with all levels of staff. Interns at ICF International have an opportunity to apply their academic knowledge, gain exposure to major projects, interact with experts and clients in the field, while building content knowledge and consulting skills.

                                                        Key Responsibilities:
                                                          • Participate as a member of a consulting team on client-based projects
                                                          • Gather, compile, analyze, verify, enter, and report data
                                                          • Conduct focused research of subjects related to alternative fuels and advanced vehicles for client-based project work
                                                          • Organize, document, and present information
                                                          • Field and respond to general and technical inquiries from industry contacts, stakeholders, and the general public
                                                            Basic :
                                                              • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Science, Energy, or related area with a minimum GPA of 3.0
                                                              • Strong interest in alternative fuels, advanced vehicles, and sustainable transportation
                                                              • Outstanding MS Office skills, particularly Excel
                                                                  Professional Skills:
                                                                      • Excellent written and oral communications skills
                                                                      • Computer proficiency
                                                                      • Exceptional attention to detail
                                                                      • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
                                                                      • Ability to effectively operate in an individual or team environment
