The MBA/Graduate Rotational Internship is an eight-week program designed to give participants broad exposure to key areas within the retail real estate industry. Interns will complete projects alongside executives within each of three disciplines: Development, Investments and Property Operations. The MBA/Graduate Internship will be based in the Company’s Mid-Atlantic regional office in Washington DC.

During the eight-week program, MBA/Graduate Interns will be exposed to: 
Sourcing acquisitions & development opportunities 
Acquisition & development underwriting 
Development & redevelopment entitlement process 
Development and construction management 
Portfolio and individual property value maximization strategy 
Lease & merchandising and design strategy 
Property level sustainability strategy and initiatives

The specific program will be finalized based on the specific needs in each regional office but will include some or all of the following:

o Introduction to EDENS 
Company and industry overview session 
Tours of EDENS regional properties 
Shadowing opportunities with leaders in Investments, Investment Management, Leasing, Construction and Property Operations
o Property Operations
The Property Operations group is responsible for facilities and tenant management within the operating property portfolio. 
Work with VP of Property Operations to complete a portfolio environmental sustainability project 
Present results to regional executive team

o Development
The Development group has overall responsibility for sourcing, design, entitlement, leasing & construction of new developments and redevelopments. 
Work with VP of Development or Development Associate to source, evaluate & underwrite new projects and/or redevelopment candidates 
Present recommendations to regional executive team

o Investments
The Investments group is responsible for growing the portfolio through property acquisitions. 
Work with VP of Investments to source & underwrite acquisition opportunities 
Present recommendations to regional executive team 

Completion of the first year of an on-going two-year MBA curriculum 
Interest in the retail real estate industry 
Strong work ethic; self-motivated; capable of effective independent judgment 
Attention to detail; organized; able to manage multiple priorities 
Excellent communication skills 
Strong aptitude with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint
