The Property Management Internship is an eight-week program designed to give exposure to property operations within the retail real estate industry.

During the eight-week program, the Property Management Intern will be exposed to:
• Operations Management
o Understand the principles of exemplary customer service
o Manage and facilitate Tenant inquiries
o Assist with planning and logistics of region-wide events 
Contract Administration
o Understand the basic business and legal terms of a service contract
o Prepare work specifications and requests for proposals (RFP’s)
o Maintain contract files 
Tenant Account Administration
o Review and analyze tenant aging receivables
o Administrate collection activity
o Review percentage rent calculations 
Lease Administration
o Understand the basic business terms of a lease
o Maintain lease files
o Collect and analyze sales reports
o Collect and review tenant insurance certificates
The specific program will be finalized based on the specific needs in each regional office but will include some or all of the following:
o Introduction to EDENS 
Company and industry overview session 
Tours of EDENS regional properties 
Opportunities with leaders in Investments, Investment Management, Leasing, Construction and Property Operations
o Property Operations
The Property Operations group is responsible for facilities and tenant management within the operating property portfolio. 
Work with VP of Property Operations to complete a portfolio environmental sustainability project 
Present results to regional executive team 
BS/BA in progress 
Interest in the retail real estate industry 
Strong work ethic; self-motivated; capable of effective independent judgment 
Attention to detail; organized; able to manage multiple priorities 
Excellent communication skills and strong customer service focus
