SCHEDULE (830AM-530pm – 40 hours per week)
Monday – Friday (Usually 800AM – 500PM, Hours are flexible; this internship will end in (September)

City of hope is currently seeking
A graduate student working towards a masters in Health Administration, Business Administration, Public Health or a related field with an interest in Strategic project support, administration and management. This student will support the development and implementation of key activities in the Strategy, Planning and Program Management Office. The ideal student will have a 3.5 or higher GPA, enjoy working in a collaborative environment, and have a strong desire to learn. The student selected for this opportunity will be partnered with experienced professionals who will mentor his or her learning throughout the internship.
POTENTIAL PROJECTS and key responsibilities
Supporting various Strategic Initiative related projects stemming from organization’s strategic plan.
Project could be representative of one of the following programs (including but not limited to) – clinical, community partnerships, communication, IT, etc.
Support Project management staff related to the development and implementation of key strategic initiatives.
Provides administrative and project support.
Supports the development of strategic data analysis through integration of data from a variety of internal and external information sources. Compilation of data and data entry.
Conducts project related research and compiles information for use by project management team.
Assist with meeting preparation(s) and drafting of meeting materials.
Intern will be required to complete a formal presentation identifying project and internship key learning’s.
Graduate student actively working toward a masters degree in a health or business related field
One year general work experience (industry specific a plus)
Cumulative GPA of 3.5
Excellent time and project management skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
