Typical Job Functions: Primary Purpose of Job - NASDAQ OMX Treasury Department needs a suitable candidate to help in the day-to-day cash management and reconciliation, investment management, debt management and financial analysis activities. Primary Tasks: Cash management and reconciliation Transfer prior day cash reporting to Quantum Update signers on Accounts Assist with documentation for swift, Mysis and 360T Wires and ACH Update Debt and Escrow Schedules Assist with payable reconciliations Primary Tasks: Investment management and reconciliation Money market fund / Investment account opening Credit Research Updating investment account records Maintaining Investment Contact List Ad hoc analysis Primary Tasks: Debt management and financial analysis Manage debt and interest expense schedules Maintain debt syndicate contact list Update direct cash flow report and forecast Ad hoc analysis Requirements: Ideal candidate is a Senior majoring in either Finance, Accounting, Math, Statistics or Engineering, who is highly motivated and quick to learn in a fast paced environment. Must have a grasp of basic finance concepts with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint). Must be able to meet strict deadlines and multitask. NOTE THAT THE REQUIREMENT IS FOR A FEW HOURS A DAY, WHICH MEANS THAT WE COULD POTENTIALLY WORK AROUND THE STUDENT'S ACADEMIC SCHEDULE DURING THE SEMESTER. This is a regular part time position located in New York, NY. Desired start date is as soon as possible.
