Summary: Diplomat’s summer internship in various departments will provide a contextual educational experience for an undergraduate student seeking a business degree. The experience will focus on Specialty Pharmacy opportunities for Diplomat. This position requires an understanding of the department in which specialized. The intern will work closely with various teams to define and evaluate specialty pharmacy opportunities. The intern will be exposed to all aspects of the departments. The internship is based in Flint, MI.
Bachelor’s Degree in progress majoring in department holding internship, summer of junior year preferred or as required by the educational program.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Have flexible work schedule, as needed.
Work with internal team and cross functional groups on defining programs, or services.
Ability to acquire and document opportunity requirements.
Abilities to communicate business requirements to internal stakeholders.
Ability to create and analyze the performance of a business program, or service and provide feedback.
Provide aid in developing and implementing reporting requirements for business programs.
Ability to handle simultaneous responsibilities
Ability to evaluate department work flows in the attempt to come up with solutions for implementing and administering a new business program, or service.
Ability to follow up with internal stakeholders to clarify issues and retrieve more information.
Ability to work cooperatively with a team.
