As a Finance Strategy Intern you will report into the strategic finance team at Micron which is responsible for M&A, long range forecasting, Competitor Analysis and Market research.
In this role you will evaluate super set of metrics/indicators to determine best memory leading indicators that will help predict a change in the memory market. A variety of metrics not limited to but including: distributor sales channel inventory levels, backlog, lead-time for new order delivery, memory competitor stock prices, and customer stock prices. Secondary projects as time permitting will consist of market research, competitive analysis: long range financial modeling,
- Core finance background
- Understanding of basic statistics with ability to perform linear regression
- Ability to distill down complex data into clear messages
At least Junior standing in a BS program with an emphasis in Finance or enrollment in an MBA program.
