Summary of requirements:

? Must have at least 5 years of experience in warehousing and materials management.

? Must have considerable knowledge of storekeeping and warehousing methods and procedures, including physical inventory and record keeping practices.

? Must be well versed in shipping and trade logistics, including customs laws and international policies.

? Must be well versed in OSHA regulations, including but not limited to: general safety and health provisions, sanitation, fire protection and prevention, materials handling, storage, use and disposal, motor vehicle operations, etc.

? Must be knowledgeable of CCC mark (China Compulsory Certificate), including applicable categories of products, and the application process for certification and approval.

? Must implement best practices for kitting and assembly areas, including enforcing sequential deliveries so as to minimize 'touches' on each item

? Must have High School Diploma or comparable Vocational School degree.

? Must be proficient in forklift operations and pallet jacks, and must maintain current OSHA forklift certification.

? Must be proficient in implementing and using a wireless, QR or data scanning inventory control system that tracks through the entire process the whereabouts of each piece of hardware

? Must have adequate knowledge of a variety of tools, parts, materials and supplies required for minor repair work related to warehouse maintenance.

? Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word and Outlook.

? Must have a clean driving history.

? Must pass a criminal history screening.

? Must pass a drug screening.

Summary of responsibilities:

? Use effective verbal and written communication skills. Add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers and fractions rapidly and accurately.

? Prepare bills of lading and related paperwork.

? Operate a computer manifest system for UPS/Parcel Post (if applicable).

? Plan, lay-out, and maintain efficient yard / warehouse layout. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.

? Ensure efficient movement of materials required to meet production schedules.

? Document the receipt and disbursement of inventory in accordance with all applicable accounting systems.

? Use tactful negotiation tactics to ensure consistent cost-savings.

? Inspect all shipping parcels for adequate packaging to prevent damage during shipment.

? Manually wrap/package material (if applicable).

? Perform the return of damaged and defective equipment in accordance with company policy.

? Work up to a 12 hour shift or longer if necessary, doing hard physical labor (possible varying temperature extremes and possible outdoor conditions).

? Climb and maintain balance on steel framework, stairs, and ladders (if applicable).

? Maintain clean and safe working environment and assure all related equipment is safe and in proper working condition.

? Ensure integrity of the warehouse and all related equipment is maintained and secured at all times.

? Delegate tasks clearly and systematically. Tolerate zero possibility of interpretation.

? Enforce the highest level of organization in all aspects of warehouse management.

? Possess the core competencies required to deliver severe retention capacity.

? Prepare for occasional safety inspections.

? Prepare and maintain accurate MSDS index.
