Job Summary
The Inventory Analyst is responsible for all pipeline scheduling, inventory reconciliation, invoice reconciliation, buying barrels and reporting deals, and managing risk for barrels purchased. The Inventory Analyst is responsible for verifying, tracking, and monitoring the inventory process and serving as a liaison between the operations and accounting functions that deal with Mansfield Oil Company's inventory.
Core Responsibilities
Verification of Invoices and Fees
Verify and approve all bulk invoices for payment ensuring price accuracy
Verify and approve all tariff fees from MOC shipping pipelines
Verify and approve all terminal fees from MOC held inventory terminals
Verify Bill of Ladings for ethanol delivered to MOC inventory terminals
Payment and Tracking
Facilitate in the timely, accurate payment of all inventory fees and invoices making sure that they are all applied to the correct G/L code
Retrieve and verify all EOM statements from MOC inventory terminals and validating them to MOCs tracking mechanism
Indentifying what purchases/expenses that have been paid and/or need to be accrued to facilitate an easier reconciliation
Inventory Management
Facilitate the creation of G/L accounts as needed for MOC inventory growth
Facilitate all bulk sales and purchases related to MOC inventory through Efuel, and maintain the CSR review for these sales and purchases
Facilitate the timely billing of all MOC inventory loads lifted by internal customers
Requirements
Must have a Bachelors Degree
Must be self-motivated and driven
Must be analytical
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, required
Prefer recent college graduates as this is an entry-level position
