Assists skilled trades workers with routine installations, repairs, construction and replacement of equipment. Uses a variety of hand and power tools. Determines extent of repairs needed; requests assistance from skilled craftsman for any problems beyond area of knowledge or expertise. Complete the total section of the phone call log book and generate work order thru the work order program, take work request, assign work request, generate PM’s and assign, close work request and PM’s, maintain PM files and parts and invoice files, call on parts to check availability and cost and order thru the AS-400, maintain parts stock levels, enter invoices, generate work order for all item either called in e-mailed or instructed. Follows detailed instructions from skilled craftsman or in written format. Ability to read and follow detailed instructions.
High school diploma, good typing skills and 2 yrs maintenance experience preferred.
