The Investment Analyst will support a global real estate multi-manager business, assisting with research and investment activities in the Americas, particularly Latin America. The analyst is expected to proactively seek and recommend best-in-class real estate investment opportunities and in so doing, build and maintain a strong professional network among Latin American real estate fund managers, operators, developers, and investors. In tandem with other team members, the analyst will screen and monitor unlisted real estate funds and other private equity real estate investment opportunities, compose investment committee proposals, and perform due diligence on potential investments. The analyst will maintain close contact with fund managers, actively monitor the performance of investments, conduct quarterly performance forecasts, and assist in portfolio analyses and investment plan composition. The analyst will attend relevant conferences and participate in industry groups/associations focused on Latin America.

The desired candidate will have a minimum of 2-5 years of real estate investment experience, including Latin American markets. Knowledge and experience within the private equity real estate fund universe is preferred; experience in public real estate will be considered. Fluency is required in English and Spanish and/or Portuguese; the analyst is required to speak and write in fluent languages at the highest competency level. The candidate must possess strong quantitative skills, with the ability to develop and maintain complex financial models. Familiarity in working with tax and legal advisors in the due diligence of funds, and during the structuring process of feeder vehicles, is a plus. The analyst must possess strong people skills and must be a flexible team player who feels comfortable working in and contributing to a global team as well as working in a matrix oriented organization. Strong academic credentials are essential; a four-year degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or Economics required. Significant travel is required.
