The Investor Reporting Manager will be responsible for the daily cash reconciliations, daily investor reconciliations and review of all new loans and pools. The Investor Reporting Manager will ensure that the accurate funds are being placed into the custodial accounts and that all funding requirements are met. The Investor Reporting Manager will be responsible for the daily, weekly and monthly deliverables to the investors and the agencies. The Investor Reporting Manager will be responsible for providing all documentation to corresponding divisions within Truhome for pooling possibilities or loan sales. The Investor Reporting Manager will also be responsible for the Quality Control measures for new loan boarding and bulk acquisitions as well as the Quality Control measures for all accounting functions.
Responsible for the accuracy of all cash functions within the servicing division.
Provide daily, weekly and monthly cash reconciliations for all investors and agencies.
Prepare and deliver all investor and agency financial accounting reports in an accurate and timely fashion. Monthly deliverables will vary depending on investor/agency and the pool classification.
Provide QC for all new loans added to the system, identify any discrepancies and provide management a report within 24 hours of loan boarding.
Assist in identifying potential risks, communicate them to management and take appropriate steps to avoid risk.
Identify potential improvement to processes and procedures.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships by providing high quality customer service at all times to all internal and external customers.
Promotes honest and open communication throughout the credit union.
Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with the credit union’s values, philosophies, and leadership characteristics.
Work with other credit union departments to insure the workflow or process is providing the best service to the members.
Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Proficient knowledge of mortgage investor reporting.
Proficient background and knowledge of bank account reconciliations.
Experience with Mortgage or Banking Audit practices.
Demonstrated ability to remit required deliverables in a timely fashion.
Proficient knowledge of Agency Loss Mitigation alternatives.
Proficient knowledge of FHA, VA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and RESPA Guidelines.
Proficient knowledge of mortgage software.
Proficient experience with Microsoft Excel.
Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Ability to work under pressure and with strict deadlines.
Ability to self-initiate and work independently without close supervision.
Strong ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
Ability to resolve interpersonal conflict and miscommunications.
Knowledge of spreadsheet software and ability to use word processing software.
Must be able to be bonded.
In this position, individual will be expected to lift up to 20 pounds from time to time.
Also, must be able to stoop, bend, reach, or stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.
This position is expected to work in general office environment and may have to travel for visits to other credit union facilities or for training purposes. Overtime will be expected to be worked as needed.
Four-year college degree with an emphasis in accounting plus two or more years audit or investor reporting experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent with five or more years’ experience will substitute for a degree. Previous financial institution experience in a related role is a plus.
