ing integrated marketing services such as strategy development, market research, advertising, print collateral, web and e-mail marketing, public relations and event planning. The Senior Designer manages a team of designers responsible for executing strategic concepts, bringing campaigns to life with new ideas, and meeting timely deliverables. This Senior Designer is involved in developing the materials beginning with the evolution of concepts and pre-production through the creation of these assets for print and digital projects. The Senior Designer reports to the Creative Director and collaborates with the marketing team and other stakeholders.
Promote a strong, consistent image of the university throughout creative team projects. Design marketing materials that enable our clients to communicate effectively and reach their goals. Lead concept development, generate solutions and deliver new concept presentations with cllients. Design and produce web graphics that demonstrate online social media trends, including usability, user-centered design, information architecture, and interface/navigation design best practices. Evaluate, build and manage vendor relationships including freelancers. Sign off on projects and final print and digital proofs. Supervise and mentor two designers. Serve as backup to Creative Director for assigning team resources.
Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field Strong knowledge of brand development and the creative process 7+ years of related professional experience At least 2 years of supervisory experience Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office and a CMS Ability to articulate aesthetic and visual design principles and how they meet marketing goals Experience designing and developing websites, HTML emails and infographics Excellent team player with a proactive approach Solid organizational skills and attention to detail The ability to work in an iterative design/development environment Successful completion of an employment and/or criminal history background check required
