Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking a Developer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Cheyenne, WY.

The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Health IT, Health and Human Services operating unit which focuses on healthcare IT solutions for our federal, state, and local government customers.
We are looking for dynamic, professional, team-oriented, self-motivated individual with good communication skills and a positive attitude for the development and implementation of a Java-based systems application.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities will focus on conversion of legacy system data into an enterprise level system. Immediate responsibilities will include ensuring all legacy data is appropriately converted into the new enterprise level system.
May also have some responsibility for performing requirements analysis, design, coding, unit and integration testing of software, and configuration management.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Math, or
technical science (e.g. Engineering) and 2 to 5 or more years
of related experience or an equivalent combination of
experience in lieu of degree.
- Previous data conversion experience
- Experience with Java, XML, Oracle and Web Portal
- Knowledge of relational database concepts.
- Required skills in one or more of the following:
Web services and Oracle database technologies. SQL,
SQL (for debugging and data mining, not development).
- Must enjoy working in a team environment with frequent
customer contact and have excellent oral communication
and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated skills in solving problems and
responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction.
Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential
• Experience with Web Services, Web Service security,
• Knowledge of J2EE/JAVA, XML, Oracle, data
modeling, configuration management and object oriented
methodology tools will be a plus.
• Experience with working with multiple team and
developers and customer interaction.
• Previous working experience in a healthcare software
