Job Opening - Quality Operations Inspector - Floater
B asic Function and Responsibility:
This position is a floater position, based on First Shift, but filling in on second and third shifts as required to cover sick-time, vacation-time, or necessary overtime for workload. The Inspector conducts quality audits of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with the company's procedures. Performs quality attributes and variables inspections, assigns AQLs, writes protocols for rework, collects samples for laboratory testing, collects microbiological swabs on manufacturing equipment to support cleaning validation studies, and other duties as necessary.
W ork Performed:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following functions:
Inspect, clear and release manufacturing rooms and packaging lines.
Document manufacturing and packaging processes in conformance with established methods and procedures.
Sample and perform a variety of inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process and finished goods, packaging, printing, labeling, numbering, coding and cartoning.
Verify that shift records are complete, that manufacturing was performed according to the batch record while following SOPs and cGMPs, and that all data are documented and reported if not in conformance with the established standards.
Follow and enforce GMPs.
Report unusual circumstances or problems to Quality supervision.
Perform other services as needed or directed.

Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Must have at least 3 years of verifiable experience as an Inspector.
Experience with In Process, and Final Product Inspection, preferably in pharmaceuticals.
ASQ Certified Inspectors is a plus!
Must be able to work all shifts as required as this is a floater position (shifts are 7:00am-3:00pm, 3:00pm-11:00pm, 11:00pm-7:00am).
