VISTA Physician Search and Consulting has a client seeking to add a Gastroenterologist to a multi-specialty group in West Virginia?s second largest metropolitan area. Candidates must be BC/BE in Internal Medicine with a completed Gastroenterology fellowship. Highlights of this full-time permanent position include:

Practice Benefits:
  • Excellent multi-specialty group consisting of 64 physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners including primary care, medical and surgical specialties
  • In 2006, the group opened a 150,000-square foot medical facility that is one of the most unique, creative healthcare facilities in the United States today
  • Responsibilities include outpatient work, consultations, hospital work and shared call
  • Office hours are Monday-Friday, typically 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
  • Work with three other Gastroenterologists in the department
  • Hospital patients are handled out of one hospital less than six miles from the office
  • Competitive compensation with group owning their own endoscopy center
  • Benefit package includes guaranteed base salary with an opportunity for full partnership, four weeks of vacation, health insurance, CME, paid malpractice insurance and a retirement plan
