The Junior, Strategic Sales Executive is responsible for developing new accounts, generating new revenue, managing special projects, and cross-selling products to a base of accounts developed and generated from efforts within an assigned territory. Responsibilities also include assisting in implementing the accounts sold, and working closely with the sales manager to develop plans to retire quota.
Investigate and secure new revenue opportunities through evaluative consulting to create selling ideas in order to deliver cost saving and revenue generating solutions to the customer
Utilize a detailed understanding of Comdata’s systems and a basic understanding of the standards used by our target customers to work through the implementation with the customer
Directs the development of new accounts and business relationships through sales, marketing, and referrals. Reviews applications and contracts and ensures that all transactions comply with state and federal regulations
Bachelors Degree is preferred
Excellent level of personal organization with excellent oral/written communication skills
Must be detail oriented, with the ability to handle multiple assignments promptly and effectively
Must be able to manage time effectively and work independently without direct supervision
Demonstrated ability to work calmly in a fast-paced team environment while effectively managing multiple projects
Superior telephone etiquette and customer service skills are required, with the ability to react quickly and decisively to resolve customer issues
Should have a minimum 40-wpm keyboard skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Windows
Knowledge of Comdata products including the entire sales process, sales presentations and closing skills preferred
