Serves as a knowledgeable IDIQ Key Account Manager with domain expertise in Air Force, Army, Navy or the IC. Assist to animate the AFHC Program Management community to drive work to our vehicles.
Prime interface with the assigned IDIQ contracting offices (whether GWAC, MAC, GSA schedule.) Builds enduring relationships between AFHC and vehicle offices. Meets with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring conformance with program and project task schedules and costs.
Drives the responses to competitive Task Orders, with an emphasis on leveraging standard process. Leads the capture of task orders against the targeted vehicles (Vehicles targeted in business’s strategic plan.) Coordinates with teaming subcontractors to develop the most cost effective solution to task order requirements.
Partners with Agency customers regarding the technical scope of the IDIQ and the overall attributes of the various IDIQ Program: provide all reporting information required under the Basic Contract accurately, thoroughly and timely; Resolve issues related to task order performance under the Basic Contract; and attend meetings and conferences as necessary.
Coordinates assigned staff from various lines of business which may include Operations, Business Development and Capture Managers to develop winning business solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in related field.
7+ years’ experience with Government contracting with IDIQ vehicles for FFP, T&M, CPFF, and CPAF type orders (competitive and directed).
Previous experience with Federal MAC, GWAC , GSA contracts. Experience managing large IDIQ/GWACs vehicles and also knows how to successfully market them. Experience achieving Task Orders against DISA Encore II, AF Netcents II, Seaport-e, ITES-2, Alliant SB, Alliant F&O, etc.
PMP certification is a plus.
Experience in capture management or in new business development a strong plus.
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with internal technical, management and administrative staff, as well as external customers.
Highly motivated, program-solving, multi-tasking individual who works well in a fast-paced dynamic environment is essential.
Possess strong skills in organizing, and managing time across multiple tasks and customer needs; capable of working independently.
Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers.
Proficient in all MS office products is required.
Must be a team player with a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
Must be comfortable and effective working in a matrixed organization.
This individual will report to the Director, IDIQ Program Management and may be based in our Greenbelt, MD or Northern Virginia offices.
Must be a US citizen with ability to pass a Government background investigation. Active security clearance preferred.
