Due to the continued success and growth of our business, Sartorius is offering an exciting and challenging opportunity as a Key Account Sales Representative for our Bioprocess Division. We are seeking a team member that is motivated, ambitious, and excited to partake in the growth of our company. The ideal candidate will work closely with Account Managers, technical support functions and our global supply chain to serve their customers and achieve their financial targets. They will work in the field providing relevant solution for the application to their customers as well as selling and demonstrate selected products and services depending on the particular need in close alignment with our global divisional strategy. This candidate will be responsible for accounts in the assigned territory of Los Angeles, CA.

•Regularly achieve or exceed financial targets for area of responsibility
•Support customers requirements in supply and quality in close alignment with our internal capabilities and closely cooperating with our supply chain and quality organization
•Own the account and ensure relevant resources to grow the business will be provided at right skills and in time
•Regularly visit critical decision makers and influencers at the accounts and able to build sustainable business relationship
•Be The interface between customer and internal SSB stakeholders
•Able to identify new business opportunities and successfully close them
•Able to negotiate specific deals based on solid business acumen
•Support global contracts and contributes to the negotiation of the same
•Regularly report on the progress of the business to internal stakeholders
•Able to develop and execute on an account plan in close cooperation with Management
•Knows and understand SSB strategy and values and able to present it to the customer
•Follow up on MarCom initiatives
Skills and experience that you need to bring to our company
•Relevant experience and proven track in sales within the Biopharmaceutical or Life Science Industry
•Knowledge in Fermentation, filtration and purification technologies is a plus
•A minimum college degree in Life Sciences or Bioengineering
•Sales skills and solid business acumen.
•Ability to present to customer or internal auditorium and transfer clear messages
•As a team player able to drive for success
•Ability to adapt to the needs of a fast changing environment
•Track record of working in a team environment with excellent communication and people skills
•Knowledge of standard office software and modern communication tools
•Ready to travel min 50% of your working time in designated territory
