Interested? Here’s who we’re looking for: In this role, the EDI Business Applications Analyst will be responsible for supporting, streamlining, and automation the EDI business processes. Experience and skills desired for this position include data mapping, programming in MS Access, VB (.Net), or other object-oriented programming, and database access in Oracle and/or SQL Server.
Interested in the day to day duties?
Provide support of EDI system. Will be required to learn and understand, in detail, each component involved in the EDI process as it pertains to the company.
Have substantial experience with data mapping using any reputable software mapping tool.
Produce reports and data extracts relating to each stage of the order process using multiple tools.
Create and maintain reports, data extracts, and data structures within Access dB, SQL Server, Oracle.
Have a working understanding of VB (.net) object-oriented programming
Able to work with cross-functional teams across multiple countries.
Highly organized, with the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects.
Ability to prioritize and focus on projects.
Ability to manage projects, gathers requirements from various departments, and ensures projects are completed and implemented properly.
Develop or help develop with various departments any user documentation for new or modified applications and reports.
What’s your background?
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year (4) college and/or four (4) plus years related experience to include:
Strong working knowledge of the data mapping software Ascential (formerly Mercator) or experience with a similar software tool.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Access; with detailed knowledge of the creation of queries, forms, reports, and programming functionality with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point).
Strong understanding of relational database (dB) structure and function. Specifically Oracle and SQL Server. Knowledge of basic financial concepts. To include concepts such as; multiple denomination currency conversion, basic accounting structure and flow, Costing types, etc…
