New York University's Arts and Science is seeking a highly motivated individual to administer the German Language Program of Deutsches Haus at NYU. Advise language students on course selection; recommend extracurricular programs. Supervise all aspects of adjunct faculty recruitment. Plan and organize programs. Advise Director on curriculum implementation and potential impacts; serve as liaison between director and adjunct faculty regarding administrative matters pertaining to the language program. Support Director in planning and organizing Public Relations and fundraising activities.

Qualifications/Required Education:
Bachelor's degree and

Preferred Education:
Master's degreee in German language or studies.

Required Experience:
3 years' college teaching experience including language program administration, developing pedagogical criteria and advising students; some supervisory and budgetary experience.

Preferred Experience:

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: (include unique competencies, certification, licenses, etc.):
Ability to develop program curriculum and examinations including use of computer and internet; excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
