Mental Health Resource Center, Inc. is looking for a Licensed Clinician to join its Florida Assertive Community Treatment (FACT) Program in our Stuart, Florida area office. The Licensed Clinician provides needed treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to adult individuals served by the FACT Program in order to reduce or eliminate the need for hospitalization and to enhance their independence, autonomy and quality of life. The Licensed Clinician also promotes recovery, empowerment, self-determination and decision-making for each FACT participant.Some of the other functions include but are not limited to: Provides treatment, rehabilitation and support services in accordance with the FACT model Completes assessments and documents all services provided to client served on the program Participates in daily organizational meetings Assists psychiatrist in medication management Provides vocational/educational services Facilitates case conferences and family conferences as needed Assures accuracy, completeness and confidentiality of clinical records. Provides services out in the community visiting clients in their home settings Works within the multidisciplinary team to consult on services for clients PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: FACT stands for Florida Assertive Community Treatment and is a multidisciplinary team that provides comprehensive services in the community to individuals with severe mental illness. The program services up to 100 adult clients. The FACT team members provide clinical and supported services through assessments, evaluations, treatment planning, community referrals, advocacy and crisis intervention. Most of a FACT team member's day is spent in the community completing many of these above duties. Only about 15% of their time is spent in the office. Company vehicles are available, however, members of the FACT team also need to use their personal vehicles to provide services. The FACT Team operates beyond regular business hours, rotates holiday and weekend responsibilities and rotates an emergency cell phone. The Mental Health Resource Center oversees 10 our of 32 FACT programs in the state of Florida in the areas of Jacksonville, Cocoa/Rockledge, Stuart, Tampa, Naples, Clearwater, Winter Haven, Gainesville and Kissimmee. The Licensed Clinician must have a Master's Degree in Human Services or related field.Experience working with individuals with mental health diagnosis such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder is required. Valid Licensure in the state of Florida as LMHC, LCSW or LMFT is also required. Experience with DBT therapy techniques preferred. The members of the FACT Team must meet the MHRC/RBHS vehicle driver requirements to include insurance coverage equal to or exceeding $50,000/$100,000/$50,000, a valid Florida Driver's License and no more than eight points on their license for any combination of violations.
