Responsibilities - The primary responsibilities of this position include the following activities related to insurance claims investigations:
  • Written and recorded statements
  • Accidental and contestable death claims
  • Medical records review & development of medical history Interviews
  • Writing investigative reports

  • Must be eligible to be licensed as a Private Investigator in Iowa and surrounding states
  • Life and Health claims investigation experience mandatory
  • Associates/Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field preferred

  • Ability and willingness to travel as necessary within a multi-state coverage area

  • Flexibility to work varied/irregular hours and days including weekends
  • Strong computer and internet skills
  • Self-starter who takes on challenging responsibilities and holds self accountable for results and performance.
  • Strong attention to detail with commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals or deadlines.
  • Possess a valid state issued Driver's License issued by state of residency
  • Possess a reliable vehicle and Computer with Windows Operating System, Microsoft Word and Internet Connection
