This position will report to the Director of Organizational Development, and will primarily be responsible for:
The clean-up, and day-to-day functionality, administration, and maintenance of the learning management system.
The design, development and integration of e-Learning solutions into the LMS that meet assessment, testing and continuing education and/or certification requirements.
Collaborating with the OD team, Clinical Education team, other department members, and SMEs, using creative and innovative thinking to build the functionality, reporting, and learning environment required to meet the health system's educational needs.
Delivering a measurable learning experience linked to user performance of products and internal employee development.
Understanding the education business e.g. course/curriculum, classes, schedules, registrations, confirmations, certifications) to build ease of use for the end user, OD team, Clinical Education team, other departments, and SMEs.
Running monthly reports on help desk performance, user activity, user attendance (external and internal), and user certification.
Bachelor's degree in related field
Master's degree in related field
Experience administering a Learning Management System (LMS), running reports, data input, loading courses and creating curricula preferably in a healthcare environment
Experience creating interactive eLearning content in software such as Lectora, Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia or others
Excellent customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate with individuals by phone, e-mail or in person
Proven communication, customer service and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefits of business goals
Experience working with data interface (feeds) and understanding its impact to the LMS
Experience working with SCORM and AICC
Proven ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent tasks to meet deliverables as well as routinely prioritize among major initiatives and operational tasks
Highly proficient computer skills ? to include a mastery of Microsoft Office Suite
Understanding of HTML
Highly motivated self-starter
Ability to multi-task projects with short deadlines
Strong organization skills
Strong technical writing skills
Ability to work collaboratively with instructional designers, trainers, other organizational departments and with external client IT teams and end users
