While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hand and arms. The employee is regularly required to stand, talk or hear, and smell. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 20 pounds. The employee is regularly required to walk distances up to 100 feet at a time in a fast paced office environment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
Education: Graduate of an accredited practical school of nursing
Licensure/ Current practical nurse license for the State of Missouri
Certifications/ Current IV certification, current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
Knowledge/Skills: Excellent communication skills, Strong organizational skills, ability to teach
Experience: One to two years of physician office experience. Experience in performing EKG's, vision and hearing screening, assisting in various office procedures, and experience in giving adult and pediatric injections.
