Assists duties of the Director as may be required in his/her absence. Assists with reports, work schedules, staffing,
payroll and overall operation of the Laboratory department.
Encourages an ongoing program of improvement of Laboratory services.
Provides technical consultation for each of the specialties/sub specialties in the laboratory including respiratory.
Certification as MT (ASCP), CLS, or equivalent.
Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Science is required. Equivalent qualifications as defined by CLIA will be considered.
General knowledge of all Laboratory functions required. Minimum of four years full time laboratory training/experience in high complexity testing is required.
